AGIRE I SCSp SICAV-RAIF (the “Fund” or “AGIRE I”) seeks to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns for investors while contributing meaningfully to achieving global carbon neutrality and increasing energy autonomy without resorting to raw material imports.
Investment opportunities in wind and solar assets
AGIRE I is a closed-ended fund based in Luxembourg and aiming at investing in greenfield renewable energy projects development, in pre-construction renewable energy projects and in repowering wind farm projects mainly in France, the EU and Switzerland.
AGIRE I is initiated, sponsored and, structured by Wysenergy an independent renewable energy developer.
AGIRE I invests mainly in on-shore wind projects as well as in other power generation projects using solar, green hydrogen, storage and/or hydropower technologies.

AGIRE I benefits from a wealth of experience through Wysenergy (sponsor and Investment Advisor to AGIRE I), IQEQ (the AFIM) and all Partners.
Wysenergy is led by Thierry Boivinet, a senior and experienced professional with a strong track record in renewable energy sector and is accompanied by 3 other associated partners.
Depending on the context and opportunities, the development and deployment of our projects are managed either internally by Wysenergy operational teams or externally in partnership with other companies through joint development agreements.
Thierry BOIVINET
Co-CEO
Thierry, a Civil Engineer in Physics, is the initiator and founding partner of Wysenergy in 2020. Thierry used to be Director of development of TTR Energy and previously he founded EIDEN. He also held positions as Telecom infrastructures Deployment Manager for Mobistar. Thierry works in the renewable energy sector for more than 18 years.
Jorge AZEVEDO
Co-CEO
Electromechanical and software engineer holding an MBA. He is an experienced executive B2B and B2G Business Development, accustomed to Public Transportation Markets. It is not his first attempt developing large cross countries infrastructures: France, Netherlands, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, Asia has already benefited from his work.
Construction
- Building more than 2200 MW in France;
- Experienced with the following wind turbine providers: VESTAS, GE, SIEMENS, ENERCON;
- Repowering of existing projects (dismantling and reconstruction).
Fundraising
- Participation in fund-raising of more than €500 million of debt with senior and institutional banks in France;
- Financial institutions: NORD/LB, Crédit Agricole, Natixis, Crédit Coopératif, Triodos, CIC, BPI;
- Participation in 2 fund-raising of more than €100 million of investment capital.
M&A operations
- Participation in the executions of more than 25 sale and acquisition transactions over a period of ten years.
Development
- Co-development of more than 500 MW of wind power projects in France;
- Initiating of more than 300 MW green field wind projects in France;
- Participation in the preparation of the feed-in tariff for wind power tenders organized by the CRE;
- The first winner of onshore wind power tenders in France for an output of 238.1 MW.
